About Canyon & Cove Art

Hi! I'm Megan Nielsen, I am an illustrator and admirer of the great outdoors. I grew up in a small town by the ocean and now reside in a small town in the mountains. My background is based in both Art and Interior Design. I am inspired by nature and animals, patterns and materials, and most of my paintings begin from something that inspired me on one of my nature adventures with my family! Canyon & Cove (formerly Little Pine Artistry) has been in my fate since the first time I put pencil to paper. I grew up being that doodler in the back of the classroom, and whenever I got any chance at having a drawing assignment you would see me racing to do my homework. After high school, I took a couple classes in painting and design which lead me to a degree in interior design where I earned a great understanding for design and a deep appreciation for what its capabilities are in all aspects of life, but I always knew that painting was my first passion. After graduating and starting a family, Little Pine Artistry was officially born. Now years later, it continues to grow to heights I never imagined from the start. My goal from the start has always been to bring beautiful, fun, and modern designs to your home that you can share with your loved ones, and I strive to reach that with each new design I create.
