Ooshky is a Scottish company created for those who appreciate the joy of a good whisky - where every drop counts and how it’s added matters. Frustrated with using a milk jug to add water to his dram, founder and engineer Scott Deas designed something better: a ceramic pourer that brings control, elegance, and ritual to the whisky experience. The name Ooshky is a playful nod to uisge beatha - Gaelic for “water of life” and the origin of the word whisky - honouring both the language and the tradition behind the spirit. Each Ooshky is thoughtfully made, either in handmade ceramic produced in the UK using slip-casting techniques, or in finely mouth-blown glass.
