About Purple Myrtle

Growing up in rural Mississippi, having a place to express yourself was not always the easiest. We took a little bit of where we came from, and a lot of where we are going to create Purple Myrtle. Started in 2019 by a small group of friends, we combined talent, determination, and artistry to make Purple Myrtle a hub of unique, odd, fun, and diverse products and jewelry available to the whole country. Inspired by the crape myrtles of Mississippi, and my mother’s favorite color, a clever name and concept was developed. We hear all those funky and fun people out there that want cute accessories to match their style without breaking the bank. Education comes first to us! We love small towns, small businesses, and those fun and funky teachers that live to educate. Being raised by a public-school teacher, I always saw the struggles and personal expenses endured by public educators! A lot of our fun earrings are inspired by teachers, and all that they do to educate our youth.
