About Freedom Sourdough
Freedom Sourdough is a small micro bakery serving its community in Tarpon Springs, Florida since 2023. But our starter (Joan) is a family heirloom, Joan is atleast 58 years old, originally from Italy. Joan is currently used in our commercial bakery daily she is feed and used daily. This starter is quite robust due to her feeding schedule and longevity. We make a wide variety of sourdough in our bakery and she always preforms well. We are excited to share a little bit our our family heritage with you.
