About Project Blu

OUR MISSION Project Blu was born from a desire to do better. We break the mould of the traditional manufacturing processes to offer products that are sustainable, high quality and built to last. Our love of pets and the planet is at the heart of everything we do. COMPANY BACKGROUND Founded in 2019, in the rural Welsh town of Dinas Powys, Project Blu has always set out to do things differently. Set against a traditional pet accessories industry dependent on virgin raw materials and distant supply chains, we aim to offer consumers a more sustainable choice. To deliver on that promise, we work with global suppliers to source the latest in materials science and then we convert these materials with manufacturers located as close as possible to our customer markets, all to help ensure a lower environmental impact. MATERIALS Project Blu converts a wide range of materials into superior quality, more sustainable designs. These include ocean-bound plastics, recycled clothes, leather offcuts, used fishing nets and even discarded apple peels! We are constantly innovating our product range and looking for new ways to turn pollution into sustainable materials. Read their story
