The name umewe [juː miː wiː] stands for "you, me, we" – you, me, us. Three small words that mean the big picture for us: From you and me becomes a we – a family. Because that's what matters to us, our pieces are created with a lot of love and care in small, family-run businesses in Europe – fair, responsible, and with a deep awareness of quality and origin. We choose our materials with the same mindfulness: Primarily, we process natural fibers, supplemented by selected recycled or natural raw material-based materials. Everything we use should be good for the skin and good for the world – for the well-being of the little ones and the good feeling of the grown-ups. With umewe, we create clothing that lasts.
