Have you noticed how difficult it is for bride and groom to accessorize their outfit on D-Day? This is what happened to Solenn's fiancé, the creator of Petit Détail, during their wedding. In addition to the classic bow tie and clutch, her future husband wanted shoelaces in the colors of their wedding but he had a lot of trouble finding them. This episode stuck in Solenn's mind and after she moved to Zurich, Switzerland, the idea continued to catch on. Why not create a company that offers quality laces, made in France and original enough to make a difference in an outfit? Solenn, originally from Brittany, found the ideal partner: a manufacturer located near Nantes, a supplier of renowned houses and able to produce the designs she had in mind. A small detail was born! The first waxed cotton collections were put online at the end of 2018. The original idea of these waxed shoelaces was to allow men and women working in formal settings to express their personality in a discreet way. Since then, collections for sneakers and certified organic cotton have completed the catalog. Petit Détail now offers more than 40 models to accessorize any shoe and suit all personalities. So you too can adopt the small detail that makes the difference!
