What started as an opportunity for Caleb to experiment with new designs soon grew into something more meaningful: a way to create distinctive, handcrafted pieces that people could give as gifts, use in their homes, and keep as reminders of special occasions. Based in Worland, Wyoming, Cloud Peak Crafts draws much of its inspiration from the wildlife, landscapes, and independent spirit of the American West. Moose standing beside mountain streams, pheasants rising from tall grass, mule deer among the pines, bison crossing the open country, and other familiar western scenes are carefully transformed into detailed laser engravings. Slate coasters have become the heart of Cloud Peak Crafts. Each one begins with a piece of natural stone, complete with its own texture, shape, and subtle variations. The design is then carefully engraved into the slate, creating a lasting contrast that brings the artwork to life. Protective feet are added to the back so every coaster can be both beautiful and functional. But Cloud Peak Crafts is about more than coasters.
