About Une Terre et Un Jardin pour 2 Mains

The association Une Terre et un Jardin pour 2 Mains is an association setting up a network of shared and participatory permaculture gardens in Moselle. The maintenance of all the gardens is carried out by integration jobs. Indeed, the problem of participatory gardens being the lack of regularity of volunteers which generally leads to a loss of part of the production, we set up and maintain participatory gardens so that everyone has near home a garden in which to come to garden and harvest their fruits and vegetables. Depending on the season, the work in the gardens is more or less intense which allows these same jobs of insertion to make use of the resources of the gardens (pruned wood, herbs,...) in order to create products derived from gardens such as board games, wooden pens, herbal teas, bird houses,... Thus, the sale of these various products makes it possible to perpetuate the employment of integration sites in summer and winter.Read their story
