Kevin Mealy’s brand is rooted in the belief that everyday objects can be meaningful. Based in NE Portland, he creates modern, functional pottery using traditional wheel-thrown techniques, with a focus on clean forms, consistency, and the small details that make each piece feel just right in the hands. His work is designed to be lived with—mugs, bowls, and planters that bring warmth and intention to daily routines. Kevin’s journey with clay began in high school, where he took two years of ceramics and AP Studio Art. After his junior year, a teacher lent him a pottery wheel he practiced on constantly—and eventually got to keep. When he graduated, his parents gifted him a kiln, and he transformed an old basement washroom in their Irvington fourplex into his first studio.
