About Rosalind Noor

Rosalind Noor is a London design studio bringing the Islamic and traditional arts to the greeting card aisle — and is rooted in years of rigorous traditional training. The studio draws on the rich history of global art. Our signature square cards, for example, draw inspiration from the thirteenth-century star-and-cross lustre tiles of the Imamzadeh Yahya shrine. The cards’ gold foil shimmers in the sunlight - capturing the luminescence of the original inspiration. The Islamic collection, in particular, covers occasions the mainstream market overlooks: Eid, Nikah, Hajj, Ramadan… All cards are printed in England on FSC-certified board, blank inside, and supplied with a kraft envelope. The studio was founded by an award-winning artist (Australian Muslim Artists Art Prize, 2024) who trained through apprenticeships with Haji Noor Deen (Arabic Calligraphy in the Chinese Style, China) and Necati Sancaktutan (Ottoman Illumination, IRCICA, Türkiye) and through the open programme at the King's Foundation School of Traditional Arts.
