Blurring Books is a Brooklyn-based publishing house focused on art, music and counterculture, that aims to disrupt some of the practices of corporate publishing. We adhere to our beliefs in being ethical and fair to creators by giving them the representation, compensation and control they deserve. Our mission, aside from making the publishing process more inclusive, transparent and in favor of the book's creators, is to produce a wide range of materials- from limited edition zines to hand embellished books. We encourage accessibility to a nontraditional art-appreciating audience by welcoming outsider artists and obscurity to the forefront of our catalog.
