About Give A Fig

To Give A Fig® means to care. My name is Suzanne Gaadt and my art business, Give A Fig®, is committed to sustainability. I create art from the heart to celebrate Nature and give back in support of the environment. I am an award-winning artist based in the beautiful Brandywine Valley of Pennsylvania. The Brandywine School of artists and American illustrators such as N.C. Wyeth and Howard Pyle were inspired by the area’s rich history and natural beauty. Our open spaces, wild and scenic rivers, meadows and woodlands are home to many animals, bird species and native pollinators. These feature prominently in my watercolor, pen & ink and digital artwork. My studio is powered by wind and solar and I print with soy-based inks on recycled stock in the USA. I am deeply honored to be the first-ever featured artist for the National Wildlife Federation®.
