Nordmarkens Destilleri is run by a creative group with great camaraderie, and previous experience working with whiskey and other drinks. It is a burning interest in beverage production that is the driving force for building our brand, one bottle at a time. The focus is more on quality than quantity and the key words are quality, craftsmanship and passion. Gunnar, Morgan and Ingmar started the company in 2014, which is based in Holmedal outside Årjäng, surrounded by rolling cornfields, the Värmland forest and waterways with lovely fresh water. Everyday life is filled with a driving force to offer exclusive and innovative drinking experiences to everyone who wants to experience the little extra in smaller craft-produced beverage batches, with home-produced malt whiskey and vodka-based, characterful drinks as a base. In 2018, the distillery moved into new premises where we distill raw spirit in our Scottish stills in an artisanal way, with carefully selected raw materials, which lays the foundation for our own exclusive single malt and single grain characters. Among other things, a Swedish organic malt is used, which produces both an elegant fruity and unsmoked distillate as well as a characteristic smoky distillate. Nordmarkens Destilleri also offers whiskey, rum and schnapps tastings, which we have extensive experience with.
