My name is Casandra Quintero, and I have been making and creating since I was five; starting out with crochet and cross stitch, which then evolved and developed into many other artistic avenues; including but not limited to being a self taught knitter, painter, crafter, and developing homesteader. I graduated college with a Bachelors in Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Textiles, with a minor in Business. After college, I started off as an Interior Designer, which then transitioned into an Alterations Manager. When I was blesssd with a child, my husband and I ultimately decided it would be in all’s best interest for me to be home to raise our son. It was also an opportunity for me to focus on my business “Simply Me • Gentlemen • Est. 2017 LLC”. I need a creative outlet, and I am fortunate to have a supportive and selfless husband, who is making my dreams come true. Making, Creating, and Designing has always been part of who I am, so much so; that as a child I loved making items so much, that my mom helped me find a space where I could sell what I made. At the time I made a lot of jewelry, and miscellaneous craft items. My parents and husband have enabled my dreams, all credit goes to them, and I am forever grateful for their unconditional support of my passions and dreams.Read their story
