Millican Pecan Company continues the traditions our great-great grandfather began over 100 years ago. E.E. Risien founded the West Texas Pecan Nursery at the junction of the San Saba and Colorado rivers. This is where our family's legacy began and where the Mother Pecan Orchard still stands and serves our customers well today. During his era, Mr. Risien's customer base included Queen Victoria, Alfred Lord Tennyson, and the cereal company giant, C.W. Post.
