The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, best known as A&P, was founded in 1859. Born as a Tea and Coffee company, it grew to become one of America’s most recognized brands. It had massive production facilities including its own dairy plants, coffee and tea roasting, and bakeries. At one point A&P was the largest coffee, tea, and bakery manufacturers in the country. From its earliest roastery on Broadway & Bleecker Street in New York City, A&P has filled coffee pots and teacups across America for the past 150 years. We have now tapped into our humble NYC roots to bring special crafted coffees and teas into American households once again. Our beans are handpicked and freshly roasted in New York.
