Welcome to Gabe’s Art! In 2015, my nurse healer wife Yvonne, a Women’s Health & Longevity Consultant asked me to create 36 original illustrations for a wellness life style … self-care education tips handbook she was writing, “ Mubba & Bubba’s Fit n Funny Thrive Guide”. So, I dug deep into my imagination & created the MubbaBubba cartoon characters as they travel the joyful road to optimal wellbeing & resilience ! The only thing she requested was the characters be witty, humorous, uplifting & vividly colorful, “Color Us Well” ! Over the years, Mubba & Bubba characters transitioned from by hand to digital art, so I could adapt them to create a broader product line including: T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, greeting cards & vintage T-shirts from my 1980’s restaurants, Coconuts Carribean Cafe in Sausalito, CA & Bubba’s Diner in San Anselmo, CA.
