About Kawaii Studios

Kawaii Studios is an online shop that sells handmade polymer clay jewellery, stationery and accessories. 'Kawaii' means cute in Japanese and is an art style recognisable by it's bright, colourful and happy appearance. That is what inspires a lot of the items in the shop. Kawaii Studios started 11 years ago as a hobby by Ruth Thompson when she was 16 years old. Since then it has blossomed into popular social channels, a published art book and also a successful Etsy shop.
