100% Cashmere Scarfs Made in Nepal Our carves are made from 100% cashmere on traditional handloom machines in the Godawari region of Kathmandu, Nepal. Skilled artisans weave each piece, continuing a craft that has been practiced in the region for generations. St. KARA, through ACGS, supports the Nepali charity Chora Chori Nepal (“Chora Chori” means “children” in Nepali). The organization rescues vulnerable children from abusive situations, provides care and trauma support, and works to reintegrate them with their families and communities. When reunification is not possible, Chora Chori ensures the children receive ongoing care, education, and training until they are able to live independently as young adults.
