About reVinyled

reVinyled is more than accessories, they are a collectors item! I created my vinyl record earring and accessory line in 2008 during the height of the recession. As a fine jewelry designer and maker by trade, I found myself having to pivot by way of less expensive materials due to the economic climate to continue feeding my creative soul. Luckily, as a life long record collector, I had some damaged vinyl taking up space and a lightbulb went off! I started experimenting with a damaged 45rpm vinyl record, my saw and some files, and before I knew it, a new jewelry line was born. Eco-conscience, sustainable, lightweight and nostalgic with a focus on music the possibilities are endless, as are the vast amounts of damaged records on the planet. There are only a few places that have the capabilities to recycle PVC, which vinyl records are made from so upcycling damaged vinyl is the healthiest for the environment. All of my products are handmade, by me, in Philadelphia, PA with no assistance from lasers or computer programs.
