In the infamous year of 2020, owners Christopher and Amanda were Christmas shopping around Titusville at the small business retail locations in the city and realized there was a need for local retail options. Both wanted to open a small business for awhile, but they hadn't settled on what to do. Both love Christmas, love shopping local and thought that opening a popup Christmas store would be fun. On December 25th of 2020, Amanda's Mom was admitted to the hospital and passed away on December 30th. Wanting to renew the unique and special time that is Christmastime, Amanda and Christopher decided to go all in and open a year-round Christmas store. Down Home Christmas Shoppe wants to help you remember the good times with hand-made ornaments and other unique gifts that you won't find at a big box store. We would be honored to be a small part of making new Christmas memories to cherish.
