Hey bestie! I’m Nik Austin — founder of CoRo & Company™, author, podcast host, creative strategist, and a woman who rebuilt her life on faith, self-respect, and purpose. CoRo & Company™ is a curated stationery and lifestyle boutique based in Newport News, Virginia. What started as a faith-based apparel brand has evolved into a refined, confidence-forward brand creating self-love journals, guided planners, meaningful apparel, gift-ready goods, and digital tools designed to help people show up boldly and live intentionally. CoRo stands for Chosen. Overcomer. Renewed. On Purpose. And that’s not just branding. That’s lived experience. I quit my Office Manager job at a mental health agency on April 24, 2017. I officially became a full-time business owner on December 5, 2020. That same year, I had life-saving weight loss surgery. Survived a near-fatal car accident with my husband and son. Rebranded my business after losing what I thought was everything. I didn’t build CoRo from comfort. I built it from recovery.
