About Elm Dirt
Elm Dirt is focused on sustainability, organic farming and gardening with its foundation built on vermicomposting. We developed our fertilizers without the negative environmental effects synthetic fertilizer manufacturing usually has, and bring to the table a permaculture approach. Lauren Cain started Elm Dirt in 2020 because her 6 month old daughter was a determined dirt eater and Lauren was concerned about what chemicals her daughter was eating. Lauren used her background as a chemical engineer to research and develop the formulations that would be safe for her kids, her dogs and the planet.
