About Penguin Knots

Hi everyone! My name's Cassidy and I'm the owner of Penguin Knots! This small business idea came upon when I took a random day off of work and decided to do some crafts to get my mind off of life for the day. I had seen these adorable macrame keychains on Pinterest and HAD to try making one myself. I went over to Michaels and bought the keychains and yarn to attempt putting them together. Obviously the first few looked questionable, but I realized whenever I was working on the keychains it helped to quiet my mind down. One day I had jokingly said to my partner that I should start an Etsy store and sell the keychains. He turned to me in the most serious tone and said "you should try it out". So I did. Here we are today, and Penguin Knots is officially up and running with a number of of high-quality handmade macrame products on the storefront. I have always loved putting my focus into something that physically shows the amount of work I've put into it. Making these macrame keychains allows me to put my heart and soul into this work with the end result of creating something for others that's both practical and adorable!
