When Kat found out she was pregnant, she raced to the store to pick up some cocoa butter and found out quickly, that the leading brand was full of "extras" she didn't feel comfortable with. After much research and trial and error, Kat began making her own skincare, out of high quality, mostly raw ingredients, with the goal of preserving all the naturally occurring skin friendly qualities. After the baby was born, Kat ran into another issue-the baby had eczyma flare ups that resulted in dry, flaky skin. After whipping up a batch of whipped body butter, the baby's skin was visibly better. Kat decided to take everything she had learned and apply it to making products that would help others with sensitive skin, or anyone that had a skin condition and wanted to seek a natural solution. Primal Beauty was born with an idea that skincare made in nature is best-all of our products are handmade, once a month, for optimum freshness. Primal Beauty does not use any dyes, artificial fragrance or chemical preservatives. All products are cruelty free and vegan. Read their story
