After caretaking for my mom for 10 years, one thing became very clear- there is a huge gap in knowledge amongst healthcare professionals when it comes to women’s health, and more often than not women are consistently dismissed and gaslit by physicians who don’t believe their symptoms. With 80% of women experiencing hormonal imbalances that can lead to severe chronic conditions if not addressed, and little to no solutions offered by the conventional health systems, I took it upon myself to get certified as a functional diagnostic nutrition practitioner with a mission to make sure other women don’t share my mother’s suffering. I wanted to create something I believe would have helped her, and given her a chance at life in her later years, so I founded Cync- a women’s health company dedicated to empowering women of every age to take charge of their health and advocate for themselves with knowledge that can change their life- because we all deserve that much.Read their story
