Yoonique Skin brings new life to ancient practices with ritual-based cleansing. Located in New York and South Korea, Yoonique products are clean, vegan, plant-based and rich with nourishing ingredients that build the foundation for radiant skin. Yoonique founder Eunice Koo believes that by embracing Korean skin care practices everyone can have glass-like skin just like her grandmother and mother. Born in South Korea and raised in the Philippines, Eunice moved to New York City to attend Parsons School of Design where she majored in Strategic Design and Management. There, she learned to create business strategies guided by the principles of innovation, sustainability and collaboration. She began her professional career in the fashion and beauty industry, where she implemented marketing campaigns to help guide product launches.Her move to New York is what first inspired Eunice to reconnect to her Korean heritage. Rather than get caught up between different worlds, she set out to bring her history and culture to her new home, always aiming to incorporate her childhood memories and family values into her work. Growing up, Eunice watched her grandmother grow skincare ingredients in a small garden and use household items to achieve her healthy skin. She froze tea bags into ice cubes for ice facials, grew flowers and leaves for masks that would give her glowing skin, and sourced natural oils to act as moisturizers, break out remedies and makeup removers.Read their story
