THE START OF A GREAT ADVENTURE It all starts with Mother Paulette's recipes, who used to make delicious Canistrelli. These Canistrelli express the unanimity of those who were lucky enough to taste them. In 1983, the two sons Alfred and Carmel started producing Canistrelli. These first cookies are made in the equipped family garage. From the first delivery tour, Carmel, the eldest did not have time to arrive in downtown Ajaccio, where he had sold all the stock. A NEW TURNING POINT The increase in their reputation in the Ajaccio region and its surroundings has caused the Biscuiterie d'Afa to relocate to the town of Appietto, in order to meet an increasing demand year after year. This move with the construction of a new manufacturing workshop marks the beginning of a new era for the Fenech brothers. FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION Today, François and Jean Fenech, sons of one of the founders, are at the helm of the family business, which has 50 employees. Both continue the direction and spirit of the ancients, while developing innovation and creation. Their ambitions?
