About Wayu

Our ritual tea blends Wayra, Kori and Samay perfectly support you and your vibe in everyday life. Each type fits a different basic energy and allows you to balance. With our ritual accessories, you can round off your daily mindfulness ritual, clean your home, or create an absolute feel-good atmosphere. Behind Wayu we stand: Camilla and Gonzalo, the two founders. We firmly believe that Peruvian joie de vivre and Inca wisdom are treasures that enrich our everyday lives and take us back to our roots. Gonzalo's family comes from Peru and so we learned exciting stories about the country's nature, shamans and rituals early on. Our tea blends and ritual accessories are inspired by tea rituals and practices of shamans from Peru. There, shamans mix a special tea called emoliente to balance body, mind and soul and invite them to a moment of deceleration. This ritual dates back to the Inca period. Palo Santo wood and similar incense is often used in rituals at home. For our loose tea blends, we were inspired by ancient shamanic recipes and created our own high-quality emoliente creations.
