About Ragonia Art

I'm Ragon, a freelance illustrator in Portland, Oregon. I love to make art about monsters, animals, people, the autumn season, and fruits and vegetables. I make art with Procreate on my iPad, POSCA markers and gouache paint traditionally, and I started risograph printing at my local shop Outlet PDX when I moved to Portland in 2024, and now I'm a certified printmaking freak. With all the products I make I strive to make them entirely myself or using Portland local resources. My studio is currently located in my dining room of my one bed 1912 apartment, but you'd probably spot me throughout the week working from a café or restaurant patio. I’m inspired by Americana, printmaking, animation, kitschy things I find at Goodwill, and my adopted tortoiseshell cat Pumpkin. When I’m not painting or drawing you can find me perusing the local thrift stores for weird things, biking to vegan restaurants around Portland, or playing a TTRPG with my friends.Read their story
