la nouille studio was created in 2024 by me, Nina Turcsanyi. There's something about getting a physical card that brings joy and authenticity to life. I truly believe greeting cards are a lost art, but I do believe they needed a little modernizing. My cards range from sentimental to snarky, because there's a time and place for both! I like to think la nouille creates cards for "real" life, and all its ups and downs. You're probably wondering where the name, "la nouille" came from...and maybe you even googled it. Yep...it means "noodle" in French. That was my childhood nickname. Nini Noodle. As a child, I hoarded all the greeting cards I received--I loved the tangible reminder of my loved ones. Alas, paying homage to a sweet memory of my childhood with a fancy French twist felt right, So there you have it! la nouille studio is based in Connecticut, where I live with my husband and five children. Two boys (ages 5 and 6), one daughter (just turned one!) and two stepdaughters (ages 12 and 17). I'm a busy mom with a full-time job in marketing insights, but this little side hustle was born to nurture my creative side.
