I was born and raised as the daughter of a gardener on the green outskirts of the city, in eastern Berlin. I can observe a lot of what I draw in my own garden. The great love for animals and plants is reflected not only in my drawings, but also in the care taken in making my art prints. I have been selling lightfast art prints of most of my freelance work in gallery quality for more than ten years. I produce my own art prints using professional printing technology and have my greeting cards and calendars produced by environmentally conscious printers. I value a resource-saving production process with short transport routes and therefore work wherever possible with fairly produced materials such as FSC-certified environmental papers and ecological printing inks. In this way, I can make my contribution to environmental protection because nature is important to me. I have been completely avoiding the use of plastic in production and shipping for years and I also pack my orders myself. My art prints are printed with gallery-quality fine art pigment inks. They are resistant to over UV radiation and moisture. My fine art prints can last for many years without noticeable fading. The prints are certified by an authenticity stamp on the back and come in glassine cases for protection.
