About Rural Heart

Hey there, I’m René Earnhardt. Although I live in the fast lane with our North Carolina racing family it’s my childhood roots that fuels my new lifestyle brand, Rural Heart, proudly named after my hometown of Rural Retreat, Virginia. What is a “Rural Heart”? There’s no rhyme or reason to what makes a Rural Heart beat - It’s a feeling inside. It’s an emotion that moves you. Growing up I never really had a name for it. It’s a feeling of spirt and gratitude I have for the landscapes surrounding me. They were deeply rooted in my soul, something truly special. It’s the ability to see the beauty in my home but also being able to see what “could be”. Having grown up in a multi-talented family, I have a sincere affinity for natural raw talent that lies within so many undiscovered artisans. Rural Heart is a collection centered around showcasing those values that resonated so deeply in my soul years ago. It’s a platform for artists to shine, and a deeply personal journey for me that I hope brings out the same passion for those who wear it. My appreciation of art focuses on living simply, with gratitude and love for our world around us. This inspires each Rural Heart piece designed by me, and created by my talented and continuously evolving team of artists that I find hidden around the world.
