“Did you just wake up one day and decide to start a candle business?” ...well yes. That’s actually exactly how it happened. Except, that this crazy idea occurred to me in the middle of a day at work. For whatever reason, I got an idea that it would be fun to try and make my own candles, sort of a fun arts and crafts adventure. Soon after I told my coworker this, she asked if I would ever make them to sell and start another business. I laughed it off, but soon enough, I started having other coworkers and friends ask me the same thing! Six months later and Beneath The Pines Candle Co. was a reality. Each scent I’ve selected for my line is rooted back to nature. I looked for scents that felt crisp, clean, warm, and fresh, that took be back to a single memory, a certain season, or just simply walking outside. All of our candles are created with coconut-soy wax, use cotton wicks free of lead and zinc, and are made with phthalate-free fragrance oils. We take pride in creating safe, clean-burning candles for everyone to enjoy.Read their story
