In 2019 I created my first porcelain ring, far from suspecting that it was the beginning of a long series. Right after the sad discovery that the jewels bequeathed by my grandmother had been stolen from me, I began to make these little creations ardently without being aware of the link between these two events and their cathartic power. Much more than filling a loss, I was going to see it, to reconnect through generations a thread so much more precious than beautiful stones and ornaments. The name “Carat de terre” is therefore the poetic association of porcelain and gold. However, all this does not emerge quite by chance... Daughter of a ceramist and granddaughter of jewelers, I have been surrounded by porcelain and jewelry most of my life. From the fusion of these two legacies comes my universe. My space of freedom where I praise fragility as an expression of elegance with as raw material a bit of me and an ounce of delicacy.
