History of Olalla Jamones. Jabugo ham of the highest quality. The story of Olalla Jamones begins with a company dedicated to the production and marketing of Iberian pig products, raised in the meadows of holm oaks, cork oaks and gall that surround Santa Olalla del Cala, a municipality located in the foothills of Sierra Morena, in the Sierra de Aracena, on the way along the Silver Route. Andalusia border with Extremadura. We are in a unique geographical location, located in the Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park. We take advantage of an exceptional air that helps to optimize the “bouquet” and refine the taste of our products. This company was founded in February 1992, with more than 25 years of experience and dedication in the breeding and manufacture of top quality Jabugo ham. Our company is small, with 12 employees and a production of 5,000 hams per year, of which 2,000 are acorn-fed in their different qualities and 3,000 are field bait. At Olalla Jamones, every detail is controlled to ensure that its products have a unique quality, thus becoming a unique pleasure for our senses. Our manufacturing methods are handmade following the traditional recipes of our natural environment, around the Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park.
