I am Carla, founder of LA CARLETA, in love with good plant nutrition and good health. Natural and vegan cuisine caught my attention a lot a few years ago and since then I have soaked myself in it studying, reading and putting it into practice, to the point of completely changing my diet. I was struck by some courses on vegetable alternatives to cheese, so I did them. When I started making them, I was fascinated by their process, the love they need, the care, fermenting and the final result so wonderful. I decided I wanted to do it. With the basics of the courses and my intuition in cooking, I started to improve them and create new vegan delicatessen of various flavors and tastes. We are currently a well-known brand of vegetable alternatives to cheeses nationally. We work every day to improve and create new delicacies of these in order to reach more and more people and to be able to do our bit in helping animals and the planet. “La Carleta” is located in Ondara, a town in the province of Alicante. Here I have my workshop where I make cheeses. La Carleta prepares the products in great detail, turning them into real gourmet foods with which to lick your fingers.
