About District Heroines

District Heroines was founded by two sisters, Dakota & Haley, as a female empowering brand that represents all parts of DC. The name was inspired by their initials, DH, with the first letters of their names and the definition of a heroine: the chief female character; a woman admired and idealized for her courage, outstanding achievements, and noble qualities. DH brings funny, light hearted, DC themed candles to the DMV region. Our candles are 100% soy wax candles with phthalate free oils. Read their story
