About Pacific Spirit - from Fiji Islands around the world Pacific Spirit was founded in 2006 by Birgit Matanisiga. In 2005, she met her Fijian boyfriend's family. An encounter that inspired her so much that it will even be decisive for the founding of Pacific Spirit later on. His family welcomed her warmly and showed her the homemade coconut oil. Her current husband's grandmother refined it with tiare and frangipani — the result was a wonderfully fragrant coconut oil. Birgit was infinitely impressed by the scent and the application as she massaged her shoulders with it. The floral scent and smooth consistency gave her an incredible feeling of relaxation. This experience manifested an idea in her: The founding of Pacific Spirit. It all started with wonderfully scented coconut oil. In 2007, the young company exhibited for the first time at the Beauty International Fair in Düsseldorf and brought the exotic scented coconut oils onto the German market.
