Sea Spray AK is a woman run business based out of Eagle River, Alaska. Specializing in Ocean and Wildlife drawings, Artist Abby VanCannon, creates detailed digital drawings of otters, whales, moose and bear using layers of scribbles and swirls to create the details and textures. Be sure to look at her large sticker and greeting card selection. Sea Spray AK opened in 2021 and although young, is growing and thriving. After a successful year in the fair circuit business grew in 2022 when wholesaling opportunities arose. Sea Spray AK strives for unique, creative, and beautiful designs and tries to add new work regularly. Each order is carefully reviewed, selected, and packaged to ensure excellent quality. About the Artist: It's surprising that a woman whose business is largely about the ocean didn't even see one until High School. Abby was born and raised in the Midwest, studied art at ISU and moved to Northern California after college. While in California she got married to a military man and completed her MFA in San Francisco. Abby has always had a passion for everything outdoors, but her love for the ocean grew during her time in California as she explored beaches and painted along the coast. The military moved them to Washington DC then to Alaska where they have lived for the last 4 years. Alaska's wild mountains, rugged coastlines, and wildlife has been a huge source of inspiration and has helped shape her creative process and subject matter.
