MyMakerScape, operating as a mobile art studio with a physical presence in Indialantic, FL, provides wooden blank cutouts to fellow makers and studio proprietors. The pieces available for purchase are the same as those featured in my studio. In between hosting paint parties, conducting sewing lessons, and leading art classes, I spend time in my home workshop crafting wood for the benefit of fellow makers and studios. MyMakerScape, a woman-owned establishment, thrives thanks to the unwavering support of my family, each actively contributing to the business. As a homeschooling family for 11 years, we guide four teenagers through their educational journey. Employing high-quality birch wood, I've steered this small business for 8 years, initially starting as a sewing studio. In 2019, I expanded into teaching paint parties and exploring wood-based projects. In 2020, faced with closures, I strategically shifted focus to provide wood cutouts to fellow makers and studio owners. This pivot not only sustained my brick-and-mortar location in Indialantic, FL, but also served as a means to cover rent during challenging times.Read their story
