About The LOOK Book

My name is Barbara Tibbetts! I'm an author, an entrepreneur with a women-owned business, a mom, and a former kindergarten teacher. When my daughter's Brownie troop was planning a trip to Nantucket, I wanted to teach the girls about the island AND do it in a fun and engaging way. I decided to create a scavenger hunt in a book, including landmarks and points of interest. The first book was black and white and produced on my home printer. The teacher in me wanted to create a fun activity that could also be educational. I also thought this would be a keepsake for the girls as a memory of their trip together. It was such a hit with the girls and their moms that The LOOK Book series was born! I now have over 20 books and counting, a plush mascot named Hunter the Owl, and an augmented reality history quiz app that is a companion to the books called “Hunter is Here”.
