About Willie & Dolly Designs

We are so glad you found us! We are a husband and wife duo from the midwest where we currently reside with our beloved golden retrievers, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton and Patsy Cline. I graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Retail Merchandising and Design and if you are unfamiliar with North Dakota, it’s not exactly the fashion mecca of the USA. Little did I know, I would end up marrying a farmer and moving west to Bismarck, ND. I was excited about the move but this left me even fewer options in the fashion career arena. I continued working with the same company I was with in Fargo but switched over to a remote setting at home. About a year and a half later, I realized my dreams were larger than working for someone else’s dreams and randomly quit my job. I scrambled to try to figure out my next game plan and a business was born. I have always been passionate about being creative, crafting, sewing, and anything DIY related. I created some signs for our wedding and was encouraged by family and friends to start selling them so I opened up our Etsy shop in late 2016. The rest is history! (And we have been covered in sawdust ever since.) Wood is our canvas. Each grain tells a different story, much like our art. Our handcrafted products are completely made to order & put together by us, from start to finish. We love what we do and strive for quality and perfection in all our handmade products.
