It all started in 2022 during a long layover at JFK. After devouring an entire book before my flight to Switzerland even took off, my husband Jack and I spent our vacation scouring bookstores for my next read. From that moment on, my Kindle became my “Emotional Support Kindle”—it went everywhere with me. As a devoted reader, I needed a case that was as functional as it was beautiful. I wanted a design that reflected the "Romantasy" worlds I loved, but I also needed a workhorse for my 3 AM reading marathons. I couldn't find a case that combined a hand strap, kickstand, and wallet with a magical aesthetic—so I decided to create it. Faeble (a play on “Fable” and the “Fae” of our favorite stories) was born for the reader who brings their book to the grocery store, the school pick-up line, and everywhere in between. What started as a small batch of 50 cases that sold out in a week has grown into a community of readers who believe their favorite device deserves "Main Character" energy.
