About Muyu New York

Muyu New York started from my love for family, tradition, and creating something truly special for the littlest ones in our lives. I was born in a small fishing town in Peru, with deep roots in the Andes. From an early age, I was surrounded by community, culture, and craftsmanship. When I became a mom, I wanted only the best for my baby—and that meant soft, safe, meaningful clothing made with love. Muyu means “seed" or "cocoon” in Quechua, the native language of the Andes. It symbolizes new life and growth. Every piece is made in Peru with the finest Pima cotton and crafted by skilled local artisans.
