HELLO, We’re ICHI NI kids, a Bay Area based kids streetwear brand launched in 2022 by designer Meaghan Oikawa. Inspired by the simplicity of the Californian lifestyle and the energy of Tokyo, ICHI NI is a gender neutral collection of simple everyday basics for kids ages 4-10 with a modern edge. At ICHI NI we believe in the creation of quality over quantity. We take the utmost care in the construction and craftsmanship of our garments. From fabric to fit to stitch we love all the little details. Which is why our garments undergo special washes and dye processes to give them a lived-in vintage feel and the softest hand. Are prints are one of a kind. Each piece is handmade, hand sewn, hand dyed and hand silk screened in small batches. They're unique, just like the kiddo who wears them. Our clothes are handmade in two small family-owned ethically responsible manufacturing facilities. One in Los Angeles and the other in Hong Kong where they pay their workers a salary + benefits. At ICHI NI we try to be sustainable as possible, our packaging is recyclable and 100% compostable. The fashion industry is hard on our planet and we will always work toward finding ways to be kind to our earth. No effort is ever too small. NEVER BORING — Just Effortlessly Cool. We want to be the stuff your kids can live in everywhere, everyday and for a long time to come. Arigato, Meag ✌🏼🖤 😃
