Elana Royer is an artist based in Aspen, CO, and the creative force behind Lilybart. She began selling her handmade paper art greeting cards at a local bookstore to raise awareness for Cystic Fibrosis and support her daughter, Lily, who was diagnosed with CF at the age of one. As demand grew, stores throughout the Aspen Valley, Colorado, and the Midwest requested more designs. What started with a few heartfelt cards soon expanded to a full collection, featuring gondolas, mountains, cats, dogs, mermaids, and bumblebees. Lilybart has since grown from a small, local card purveyor to a nationally recognized greeting card and paper goods company. Each original design begins with a sketch, carefully crafted using upcycled magazines and craft paper. Inspired by nature, the magic of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, the lure of the sea, and a love for animals, Lilybart’s playful characters bring color, whimsy, and beauty to everyday life. Whether through greeting cards or charming stationery, Elana’s work is designed to spark joy.
