About La Chênaie

At the origin of the La Chênaie brand, the Charlois group Located in Burgundy for more than 350 years, in the setting of the largest oak grove in France, the Charlois family participates in the development of a forest jewel where the most beautiful specimens of French oaks are erected. The Charlois group specializes in the selection of oaks, the manufacture and natural maturation of stave (the noblest part used for the manufacture of barrels intended for wines and spirits). La Chênaie was then born from an intuition of Sylvain Charlois, President of the Charlois group: if oak is a good antioxidant for wine, maybe it is also good for the skin? Constantly looking for the various benefits of oak, La Chênaie scientists developed for the first time and patented in 2015 an oak extract with powerful anti-aging properties: derived from bark, softwood and leaf, Quercus Petraea Concentrate has proven its global anti-aging effectiveness. In 2018, a second patent was filed: Petrasève® with ultra-hydrating action, obtained by cold pressing oak sap, which gives rise to a new pole of moisturizing products. Organically very pure, improving with age, oak contains exceptional resources: antioxidants, regenerants, stimulants, its yesterday unsuspected benefits are now for the first time united within La Chênaie cosmetic treatments.
