As a size 18 style-loving woman, Embracing Bella designer and director Bella struggled to find fun, vibrant yet comfortable clothing that complemented her personality. Most trendy brands sizes stopped at size 16. Feeling restricted... 27 years after she originally studied fashion, Bella returned to her first love to design clothing that inspires confidence, brings joy and makes curvy women feel vibrant. Bella’s first love had always been fashion. She studied fashion design when she was 16, and scored her first job as a patternmaker with an elite womenswear brand in Sydney. In 2010 Bella changed course and studied to be a nurse. She knew this was something she wanted to try. And she did more than try. Better yet, she wanted to use her fashion vision and her passion for helping others to make clothing that goes beyond the norm. Clothing that women can truly appreciate themselves in: at ease, unapologetic, fearless.
